For the 100th anniversary of the Church of St. Maria Magdalena, the Chuppa Magna was created as an artistic redesigning of the church interior. From the portal to the crossing, the installation arches up to a height of 12 meters. The decreasing archways create an intimate space in the apse that focuses the view on the precious crucifix. The motif of the tent is reminiscent of the desert migration of the people of Israel. The title Chuppa Magna is a reference to the Jewish wedding canopy.

Zum 100-jährigen Bestehen der Kirche St. Maria Magdalena entstand die Chuppa Magna als künstlerische Umgestaltung des Kirchenraums. Vom Portal bis zur Vierung wölbt sich die Installation bis zu einer Höhe von zwölf Metern. Die kleiner werdenden Torbögen kreieren in der Apsis einen intimen Raum, der den Blick auf das kostbare Kruzifix fokussiert. Das Motiv des Zelts erinnert an die Wüstenwanderzeit des Volkes Israel. Der Titel Chuppa Magna ist ein Hinweis auf den jüdischen Hochzeitsbaldachin.
