For the Oktaeder, which was part of the solo exhibition espacio, luz, transfor macion, the black steel staircase in the courtyard of the CCR was used as a sup por ting structure for an abstract, geometrical installation. The rectangular, straight and black steel beams of the staircase, diametrically different from the fabric used in the piece, became part of the sculptural work – a unity of opposites.
The Keil split the extended Sala J in the Centro Cultural Recoleta and structured the exhibition space into two areas outside the installation and into a walkin interior within the installation. This changed the exhibition space and guided visitors through the rooms in an unusual way.
Für das Oktaeder, Teil der Einzelausstellung espacio, luz, transformacion, wurde die schwarze Stahltreppe im Innenhof des CCR zur tragenden Konstruktion der geometrisch-konkreten Installation. Die rechtwinkligen, geraden und schwarzen Stahlträger wurden mit ihrer den Tuchelementen diametral entgegengesetzten Optik Teil der skulpturalen Arbeit – eine Einheit aus Gegensätzen.
Der Keil spaltete den langgestreckten Sala J im Centro Cultural Recoleta und strukturierte den Ausstellungsraum in zwei Bereiche außerhalb der Installation und in einen begehbaren Innenraum innerhalb der Installation. Daraus resultierte ein neuer Ausstellungsparcours, der die Besucher auf ungewöhnliche Weise durch die Räume leitete.
