Kathedrale des Lichts was built on invitation of the 2nd International Forest Art Path. “For the theme ‘ Expeditions ’ I developed an open space, which arched over the Forest Art Path, so that the visitors were guided into the Kathedrale des Lichts. The dialogue between the fabric installation and the tall beech trees created a new site. Light, silence and space form the breath of the forest, to be experienced in the contemplative atmosphere of the Kathedrale des Lichts.” (Jens J. Meyer)

Die Kathedrale des Lichts entstand auf Einladung des 2. Internationalen Waldkunstpfads. „Unter dem Thema ‚Expeditionen‘ entwickelte ich einen allseitig offenen Raum, der sich über den Waldkunstpfad wölbte, sodass die Besucher in die Kathedrale des Lichts hineingeführt wurden. Im Dialog der Tuchinstallation mit den hohen Buchen entstand ein neuer Ort. Licht, Stille und Raum bilden den Atem des Walds, er lebbar in der kontemplativen Atmosphäre der Kathedrale des Lichts.“ (Jens J. Meyer)
