Temple of Inspiration

As part of International Forest Art Chengdu, the Temple of Inspiration referred to the historic layout of the Yu Lei Mountain: two gates and a path up to the temple. The textile installation was built around a huge fiber banana plant, the Musa tree, which gave the place a special kind of magic. “The sculptural chair invites you to sit down and discover new perspectives overlooking the Min River and its 2300-year-old dam. Inspirare breathe and let new ideas flow.” (Jens J. Meyer)
